Sina Saranoush was a 32-year-old man who lost his life during the protest movements in Isfahan. On January 9, 2026, he was killed by security forces of the Islamic Republic. As an only child, his death left a profound and lasting void for his family. Following his killing, authorities exerted significant pressure on his family, conditioning the release of his body on their silence. To receive his remains for burial, the family was forced to sign a written commitment promising not to hold a memorial service or distribute funeral notices. Despite these attempts by the state to suppress the news of his death, he is remembered as a 'Javidnam' (Eternal Name) by those mourning the victims of the movement.
